The case involves a chiropractor. A woman has said that she received care from the chiropractor after she was involved in a car crash. The woman alleges that, during this care, the chiropractor acted negligently in relation to a treatment he performed on her, a spinal manipulation.
According to the woman, this alleged negligence resulted in her suffering a stroke. The woman claims that this stroke has had serious and lasting impacts on her brain and her neurological function.
A lawsuit has been brought against a healthcare facility and the chiropractor by the woman and her husband in regards to these allegations. The woman and her husband are asking for damages in this lawsuit.
