Injury Attorney Anastasios T. Savvaides Installed as New President of Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association

STAMFORD, CT, June 29, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ — The law firm of Wocl Leydon announced today that personal injury attorney Anastasios T. Savvaides (Andy) has begun his term as President of the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association.

The Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association (CTLA) is a statewide organization for plaintiffs’ attorneys that traces its roots to 1954, according to the CTLA website. Its mission statement reads, “Trial lawyers protecting individual rights through fair laws and access to justice.”

In his Message as the Incoming President, Savvaides discussed the challenges the organization and the profession face during the pandemic. They called on CTLA members to persevere with their efforts to pursue justice for injured people.

In addition to his work with the CTLA, Savvaides is also engaged in a number of professional organizations. He has been recognized as a Connecticut and New England Super Lawyer since 2007, is an Associate Member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, a Leaders Forum and Sustaining Member of the American Association for Justice, a former Board Member of the Association of Plaintiff Interstate Trucking Lawyers of America, and a former Board Member of the Fairfield County Bar Association.
