Man Claims Dentist Injected Bleach Into His Gum: A dental patient can suffer great harm when a dentist acts negligently when providing him or her with care in connection to a dental procedure. Thus, it is very important for dentists to act properly when performing dental procedures on patients. No dental patient should have to suffer harm because a dentist committed negligence.

Recently, a case involving a dental procedure and allegations of negligence has arisen in Texas. The case involves a man who reportedly underwent a dental procedure in December of 2009. Reportedly, the procedure in question was a root canal.

The man alleges that an error was made during this procedure. Specifically, the man claims that the dentist who was performing this procedure mistakenly injected bleach (instead of the standard numbing agent) into his gum during the procedure. According to the man, this alleged error caused him to suffer serious injuries.

The man claims that this alleged error was the result of gross negligence.

According to the Ultimate Clear Lake article which reported this story, a lawsuit has been brought by the man in a court in Texas against a dental group and the above-mentioned dentist in connection to these allegations. The man’s lawsuit reportedly is asking for damages. One wonders what will ultimately happen in this case.
